Vreten awarded the Silver Award for Vreten 900 with waist lock at Agroteknikk 2024
Vreten is delighted to have received the prestigious Sølvakset award from the Norwegian agricultural fair Agroteknikk for its innovative Vreten 900 forestry trailer with waist lock. The award, which was presented to 18 of the fair's 170 exhibitors, recognizes products that help improve and streamline the work of agriculture and forestry.
Vreten 900 with waist lock combines the agility of a mini forwarder with the flexibility of a forestry trailer, making it a versatile and time-efficient choice. Without outriggers, the user gets a faster and easier working process in the forest, while the waist lock provides stability and safety even under heavy loads.
The justification from Agroteknikk reads:
"Forest trailers without outriggers tend to tip over, but on the new Vreten 900, the outriggers have been replaced with a lock in the hitch, similar to that found on a load carrier. The trailer hangs from the tractor's drawbar and with a pivoting drawbar you get a very good turning radius. The removal of the outriggers should make loading and unloading more efficient."
